HourHaul – Timesheet & Invoice Maker for Google Calendar (the Chrome extension) · Effective date: October 17, 2026

The short version

HourHaul reads the calendar file you give it inside your browser. Your calendar is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There are no HourHaul servers, no analytics and no tracking. HourHaul does not ask for access to your Google account.

What the extension handles

• Calendar files you choose. When you drop a Google Calendar export (.zip) or an .ics file into HourHaul, it reads event titles, times, time zones, descriptions, locations and attendee responses (to skip events you declined). This happens in memory, on your computer. The extension does not keep a copy of your calendar after you close the page.
• Files you export. CSV and Excel files are created on your computer and saved to your Downloads folder. The invoice summary page is created on your computer; printing it or saving it as a PDF uses Chrome’s own print window.
• Data stored on your device (Chrome’s extension storage, never sent anywhere): your report settings (grouping, rounding, rules), the invoice details you type (your name, details, hourly rates, notes), the events in the report you last opened as an invoice, and which month your free report covers.

Payments and license checks (ExtensionPay & Stripe)

Paid unlocks are handled by ExtensionPay, and card payments are processed by Stripe.

• License checks. To check whether your copy is unlocked, the extension contacts extensionpay.com with a random license key that ExtensionPay creates for your installation. The key is stored in Chrome’s extension storage.
• Checkout. If you buy, or restore a purchase with Already paid?, you enter your email and payment details on ExtensionPay’s and Stripe’s pages, under their own privacy policies. HourHaul never sees your card number.
• No calendar data is ever sent to ExtensionPay or Stripe.

ExtensionPay passes our sales information to us (for example, the purchaser’s email and payment status) so we can provide support and refunds.

What we never do

• Upload, collect or store your calendar.
• Sell, rent or share your data, or use it for advertising, profiling or creditworthiness.
• Use it for anything other than building the timesheet, exports and invoice summary you ask for.

The use of information received from Chrome will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Permissions

• storage – keep your settings, invoice details and free-month record on your device.

HourHaul has no access to websites you visit and runs no scripts on any website.

Your choices

Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored. You can also clear invoice details by emptying the fields on the invoice page.
